Originally built in 1941 to transport various goods across Europe, the Viking, a 39 m long and 5 m wide barge, has now been fully transformed into over 200 square meters of luxury living space that is docked on the Seine at Ile de Puteaux, just outside Paris’s west limits. Ten minutes drive from the Champs Elysée, being outside Paris and next to the immense city park Bois de Bologne, means visitors can enjoy the relative calm of the park and indulge in a range of activities before heading into the centre of the City of Lights.
